Ask me (almost) anything...

Hey Reader,

Is there something you wish you knew more about folklore, Iceland, writing, or my stories?

Go ahead, ask me anything. If I don't know the answer, I'll get it for you from my trusted sources.

Because here's the thing... there is a lot of fake information out there. Especially about Iceland.

Whether it's the language barrier, not having access to experts, or content creators valuing clicks over truth.

What makes me your trustworthy source?

>> On Iceland: My grandfather was Icelandic-Canadian, which is where my last name and passion for the culture comes from. I spent two summers in Iceland before moving to Reykjavík for two years with my family and during the pandemic no less! I'm also plugged into many Icelandic associations and experts.

>> On Folklore: Anyone can become an expert in folklore, especially folktales. I read them voraciously and think about them constantly. Plus, my knowledge of the history and landscape gives me additional insights on setting and place.

>> On Writing: I've been a writer since grade school. From loving essay writing to writing for my university paper for five years to fiction writing to 8+ years of copywriting (the marketing kind), I've been putting words on pages and digital screens for most of my life—that's a wild stat for me to realize!

So, go ahead, ask me your burning, nagging, and spontaneous questions, and I'll answer them next week.

Until next time,

Natalie Guttormsson
